LG GD510 Pop Lucky Draw

Now I am posting this because an unexpected surprise happen to me...

Earlier this month, I bought a LG GD510 Pop mobile phone, just happen to see this advertisement in the newspaper and the price was very attracting, only $299. It was a fully touchscreen phone and the interface was quite similiar to iphone. As I want to own a simple touchscreen phone for a start, decide to buy one for myself.
Upon reaching the shop @ 3mobile, I was told the price was reduced to even lower price, only $279, and include 2GB micro SD card, stylus and a bluetooth headset. Wow, quickly buy one and took part in the lucky draw. The draw will be held on 27 Mar and there are 8 prizes to be won, the 1st prize is 42" LG LCD TV!

This is the phone I bought.

The phone in the package, with the stylus.

With accessories in the box.

With free bluetooth headset as well. Well, didn't use it now as I already have a bluetooth handsfree in my car.

So yesterday, 27 Mar, I made my way to ION Orchard to witness the lucky draw @ 7pm. As the organiser announced the 8th prize, there are lots of participant not around, so he have to keep drawing the coupons till there is a participant present. The 8th prize was won by a lady, a home threatre system worth $299. Wow, how I wish I got it.
So now comes the 7th prize, a LG chocolate BL20 mobile phone, worth $399. What happen next is the same, there are alot of participants not present. Then the organiser announced my name, I was shocked. Quickly I show my receipt and took a photo with the organiser, and so many people clapping their hands!
Well, quite lucky there few days, won another prize. I didn't stay back to see the other prizes, if I have won the 42" LCD TV.... that would be only a dream, haha. I don't know which magazine my photo would appear in, so if anybody saw it, let me know ok!

The pictures below would explain my prize!

Xrev Racing System 3 / Honda original spark plugs & oil filter

My car is reaching the 30,000 km servicing soon, and I had been looking around for a better engine oil. Been using Shell engine oil for many years and could not feel much difference after every servicing. My friends who own a car too, told me Shell is not a very good engine oil and almost every agent recommend this brand because of marketing reason.

I know Mobil One is another better oil and Nissan recommend this oil. I had not use Mobil One oil before so can't comment much over here.

I know of many other better brands like Idemitsu, Xrev, Shogun... but I was extremely curious about Xrev. Firstly, I came to know this Xrev oil through Hotstuff magazine and went on to explore this on their website (http://www.x-lube.com/). Secondly, this oil is available in almost any car workshop, for mine, I purchase it at Autobacs Bukit Batok @ $98. Thirdly, some of my friends recommend this to me as they had use it before and they told me their car feels more power.
Well, since I am curious, I decide to give it a try and purchase it off the shelf. Next, I would have to make a appointment with Honda for servicing. No choice, have to go back to them to maintain my car's warranty.

Please take a look at some of the photos below for this Xrev lubricant:

This Xrev comes in a package which include the Engine cleaner, engine treatment & Xrev racing system 3 lubricant.

I read through the instructions on the package and realise this is really a good deal.
Firstly, during servicing, with warm engine, I had to pour in the Engine cleaner to the existing oil and let it run for 15 - 20 min.
Secondly, drain out the existing oil and replace the oil filter. Then proceed to add in the Engine treatment.
Thirdly, add in the Xrev System 3 lubricant to complete the process.
Hmm, seldom do engine oil manufacturers bundle these together, looks like this is a wise choice. And furthermore, they comment most oil manufacturers are actually petrol manufacturers too, so they are not the expert and they would want to save cost. For Xrev, they are different because they are not a petrol company and they specialise in lubricants, this result in their products been not just a engine oil, but with lubricant too to condition the engine.
Well, I can't give my result now but I believe will be better than Shell, haha!

There is clear instruction on the back to inform user the step by step procedure.

These are the Engine cleaner & Engine treatment included in the package.

A few days ago, I had also bought the STP oil treatment @ Giant hypermart, it is also to boost engine power, and to use for every oil change. Now I have the Xrev, think have to keep this product aside for some time...

Beside the engine oil, I had also been to Thian Seng Motors (honda stockist) to buy spark plugs and oil filter. By doing this, it definitely beats the price of Honda agent price. For a 4L shell engine oil, they already charge $100, and it cost only $60 to $80 off the shelf, dependly on promotions available. See how much the agent gains...

This is the oil filter, still in a box, cost only $6.

Removal from box, but still wrap in a plastic.

These are the spark plugs, sold in a pack of 4. Cost $18 only, so each is $4.50 only. Upon closer view, it is actually NGK plugs, but manufacture for honda use only. My car require 8 plugs and the remaining 4 plugs I will get it free from agent as it is stated upon hitting 30,000km interval servicing, I would get 4 plugs free.

Well, we have to do a little bit of extra work to save some bucks during these bad recession time. And agent charge such high price, think this will be my last time going back to them for servicing.

Collection of my Xbox 360: Battlefield Bad Company 2

Today, I received a sms from Comics Connection that the game I pre-order is ready for collection. Finally, after about 1 month of waiting, I finally can get my hands on this game. The box read "Limited Edition", hope after I finish playing, I can sell off at a higher price.

This package comes with a free T-shirt too, but the only size left is size 'L'. When I reach home, I put on this T-shirt, hmm, abit large for me but still acceptable. Haven't complete the first part of Battlefield Bad company, and now comes part 2. Got to quickly complete part 1.
